Whether you’re just beginning to explore a healthier lifestyle or you’re already a primal living expert - you’ve come to the right place.  We're Jessie and Brian and our goal is to provide you with resources and information that will arm you with ways to live smarter, healthier and, ultimately, better. Like museum curators who collect and research the best cultural pieces for their institutions, we see ourselves as the 'curators' of healthy living practices. We write about and research health and wellness methods that through personal experience and the testimonies of others are optimal for not just surviving, but thriving.  Because who doesn't want to be playing tennis in their 70's? Or, traveling the world in their 80's?

To begin - your overall health is not dictated by just one thing you do like diet or exercise. We've developed the pie chart to the right to highlight a breakdown of areas that we believe are interdependent upon each other to the success of your wellbeing. We acknowledge the percentages may not be 100% exact, but we do believe diet and what you eat is one of the most important places to manage for the success of other areas in your life. 

However, knowing where to start in learning to eat better can be overwhelming. There's an incredible amount of contradicting and bad research out there in regards to nutrition and healthy foods. Our goal it to exhibit the information and practices that will help you begin your journey to better health in a clear and easy way to understand. 

From experience, we believe that the Whole30 program created by is a great place to start for detoxifying your body, reducing inflammation and arguably most important, determining the foods that work best with your specific genetic make-up. Then, you can begin to re-introduce foods that you eliminated and determine what truly agrees best with your body. The ultimate goal is it to develop a lifestyle where 80% of the time your sticking to a diet that agrees with you and 20% of the time you're indulging and enjoying yourself.  

While we have medical advisors, you should know that we're not doctors or certified health professionals. We simply have a passion and drive to do our own research, discover health and wellness methods that makes sense, and put them into practice so we may reap the many and wonderful benefits. We encourage you to do the same. Don't take our word for it. Do your own research, and more importantly, conduct your own self experiments.
